my people

welcome to songkran!
from the early stages of planning, we always knew that the second week of april would be in chiang mai, thailand. in fact, our entire first portion of our trip evolved entirely around thailand's new year celebration. and finally, this week has arrived. songkran was three days of pure water dousing. it was everything we imagined; thailand was everything we imagined, wonderful. today we're off to china!

You two! Thanks for the pics of Thailand...and our friends! So sweet to see. It made my morning! Just enjoying my cup of coffee(don't worry, it's only half coffee and mostly milk)! I really can't believe that grandpa is 90 years old...it's been like years since I last saw him. He's lost a lot of weight. I still remember meeting him the first time, he thought I was Thai.

Loved the pictures of eating grubs and other mites! Looks appetizing? Ewe...makes my morning sickness churn even more!

Oh yeah, great strategy during Songkran!!!Send the milky white dude out 5 yards in front...but you are right, his good looks was sure to turn heads! :o)

We praise God for a blessed time you had with family and friends...looking forward to China!

I am so jealous that you were in Thailand again. I sure miss that place, the people and the amazing food. How fun and random was it meeting up in Phuket two years ago. That was sooo amazing. That sure was some great scuba diving we got. Miss you two.... see ya soon. Enjoy each step.

Happy Songkran!!! We thought of you guys over these three days and wished we were there with you to fight the good fight and soak some unsuspecting tourists! We love and miss you both and are keeping you in our prayers.
